PLACEMENT OF 56,150,000 NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN THE CAPITAL OF STRATECH SYSTEMS LIMITED

Further to the announcements made on 29 January 2007 and 8 March 2007, the Board of Directors of
Stratech Systems Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Placement was completed on 9
March 2007, pursuant to which 54,150,000 Placement Shares were allotted and issued. The Company and
one subscriber have mutually agreed not to complete the placement of 2,000,000 Placement Shares. As
such, the proceeds raised from the Placement are expected to be approximately $2,927,350 instead of
S$3,035,350 as previously announced.

Pursuant to the completion of the Placement, the existing issued share capital of the Company has
increased from 403,812,479 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company (the "Shares") to 457,962,479
Shares. 68,000 shares in the capital of the Company were allotted and issued pursuant to the exercise of
employee share options after the announcement of 29 January 2007.

The listing and quotation of the Placement Shares on the Official List of the Singapore Exchange Securities
Trading Limited is expected to take place on 13 March 2007.
